This 100% pure silk scarf is made using silk twill, offering a smooth, elevated handfeel and a soft, structured drape. It features a delicately handwritten Lord’s Prayer “Our Father, who art in heaven…” - Matthew 6:9–13, and a printed logo for a subtle branded finish. THE STORY OF THE ORIGINAL PAINTING
The Messenger emerged from the idea that some messages reach us in ways we cannot always explain.
From below, sweeping marks gather and rise towards a luminous centre. There is a sense of something taking form - or perhaps dissolving from it. Wings, a figure, energy, light; the image remains deliberately open, allowing the viewer to encounter it in their own way.
At the heart of the work is The Lord’s Prayer, handwritten into layers of intense blue, violet and light. The words emerge and recede across the surface, at times clearly visible, at others almost disappearing into the movement surrounding them.
The prayer becomes part of that movement. Words spoken across generations, carried through memory and returned to in moments of uncertainty, gratitude and hope.
The Messenger is ultimately about connection with something beyond what we can see or fully understand - an invitation to trust, surrender, and remain open to what may be quietly speaking to us.
