ORA MAISON
The THREE collection.
LOVE. LOSS. HOPE.
Discover THREE, ORA Maison’s inaugural collection, with each category offering a different interpretation of Love, Loss or Hope.
LOVE
Connection in all its forms.
Love is expressed through what we give and receive, what we hold close and let go, and the ways we connect with one another.
Love brings together compositions that speak to belonging and the many ways love shapes and sustains us throughout our lives.
Colour plays an expressive role across the LOVE category, moving from the warmth and abundance of ochres, russets and golds to botanical greens and soft pastels, shaped by the mood and character of each composition.
Handwritten passages of Scripture are subtly integrated into the artworks, such as “Love never fails.” - 1 Corinthians 13:8. The words accompany rather than define the work.
LOSS
Beauty can hold difficult things.
Loss takes many forms. A person. A relationship. A place. A role. A possibility. A version of ourselves. Something that was, or something we thought would be.
LOSS inhabits this emotional landscape - absence and change, alongside longing, surrender, rest, remembrance and what remains.
Colour plays an atmospheric role across the LOSS category, ranging from ethereal blues, turquoise and muted violets to rich amber, ochre and burfinished golds. Shifts in colour, light and tonal depth support the distinct emotional character of each composition.
Handwritten passages of Scripture are subtly integrated into the artworks, such as “Whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.” - John 3:16. The words accompany rather than define the work.
These are not pieces reserved for mourning. They explore absence, transition and change without relying on the familiar visual language of grief.
HOPE
The possibility of what comes next.
Hope does not always arrive loudly.
Sometimes it is a new direction. A clearing. Something taking root. The sense of being accompanied even when we cannot see what lies ahead.
This collection brings together compositions that speak to possibility, renewal and becoming - approaching hope not as certainty, but as a willingness to remain open to what comes next.
Colour brings movement and vitality across the HOPE category, shifting between earthy ochres and greens, luminous blues and turquoise, soft pinks and violets, and unexpected bursts of light. Changes in saturation and contrast give each work its own distinct atmosphere.
Handwritten passages of Scripture are subtly integrated into the artworks, such as “I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go.” - Genesis 28:15. The words accompany rather than define the work.
THE MESSENGER
A message carried in light.
As an ORA Maison Signature Piece, The Messenger carries its symbolism onto silk, revealing itself differently as the composition is folded, draped and worn.
An archetypal bird rises through deep blue, its expansive wings opening into light. Its symbolism is deliberately layered, allowing meaning to emerge through from individual experience, collective memory and our connection with what lies beyond the visible realm.
At the heart of The Messenger is the idea of love as a universal, primal force - one that connects, draws together and reaches beyond the individual. The ascending bird becomes its messenger, carrying this idea upward and outward without fixing it to a single meaning.
Colour moves through deep indigo and cobalt into vivid turquoise, aqua and violet, with touches of yellow and gold emerging through the layers. White and luminous blue move through the composition, intensifying its upward movement and sense of expansion.
Glimpses of the Lord’s Prayer emerge through colour and light, introducing a spiritual layer that becomes part of the movement and form. “Our Father, who art in heaven…” - Matthew 6:9–13
Love is the messenger.
